As I’ve said before, I LOVE easy recipes! This easy lasagna recipe checks the box! I will say that I am not Italian, so, to all those Italian cooks out there, who love to simmer sauce for hours, and such…..you might not want to read this–it’s probably not authentic!

BUT, it still fits the bill at our house! Sometimes life is a rush, and this recipe solves the problem of a “real meal”, AND saves time! Plus, it makes everybody happy!
I got this recipe from a girl I worked with at a vet clinic, way back. Thanks, Dawn, we’ve enjoyed it many times!
It really is fast and easy to put together, then it takes an hour to bake, but that’s ok! Go put your feet up while you wait!
Start by browning the hamburger, and adding the spaghetti sauce.

Next, start layering the ingredients, starting with sauce, then noodles, then a bit more sauce….

On top of that is dallops of cottage cheese, and grated mozzarella. Then, layer two more layers of all the ingredients, ending with cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan, cover with foil and BOOM! Ready for the oven!
I can really tell that I’m not Italian when I go to try to spell mozzarella!! I DO love spell check!! Ha Ha

Bake for 30 minutes covered, to cook and soften up the noodles, then take the foil off, and bake for 30 more minutes!
And there it is! A nice big pan of tasty lasagna, with enough to feed everyone!

Good Thoughts
Lasagna is the answer, who cares what the question is.
I make ours using white sauce, like Alfredo , since my hubby has troubles with tomatoes, and it works out great.
Yum! That sounds good! I’ll have to try it!
