What’s NOT to love?–Chocolate drizzled fresh strawberries, on top of almond flavored cream cheese!?! My drizzle didn’t behave very well on this pie (below), but it certainly didn’t harm the taste of it!

Old Recipes–I Love Them!

I have some of my and my husband’s grandma’s and great-grandma’s well-loved recipes and I just LOVE them! I love thinking about who they were cooking for, and how many mouths they had to feed. How were they were dressed–did they have an apron on? Did they have to butcher the chicken before they made their Chicken and Dumplings, or did they go to the store and buy one? Did they go out and pick the strawberries out of their own garden before they made the pie?

A handful of fresh picked strawberries, and a delicious, Strawberries and Cream Pie, ready to serve.
